Claudia Reingruber graduated from the University of South Florida in 1980 with a bachelor's degree and a major in accounting. She then pursued a diversified career with Aetna Life Insurance Company, a Medicare Intermediary, where her responsibilities ultimately included managing a professional staff of ten accountants and performing all phases of audit and reimbursement responsibilities for 300 nursing homes. Additionally, she was involved in a wide range of reimbursement, audit, and appeal activities for hospitals, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, and other providers of service.
In January of 1986, Ms. Reingruber joined a regional public accounting firm as a supervisor specializing in health care. She was involved in a variety of special consulting projects, including operations reviews and recommendations, developing strategies to maximize reimbursement under both the Medicare and Medicaid, and representing clients in audit exit conferences, administrative hearings and appeals. Additionally, she was responsible for audits, reviews, compilations, projections, and tax services for health care as well as non-health care clients, and has supervised cost report preparation and rate analysis for both Medicare and Medicaid programs in a variety of states.
Ms. Reingruber is currently the managing shareholder of Reingruber & Company, P.A., a certified public accounting firm based in St. Petersburg, Florida, and President of Reingruber & Associates, Inc., a health care consulting firm with an office in Nashville, Tennessee. The firm's clientele span more than twenty-five states and are largely concentrated in the health care industry. She has presented seminars on a wide variety of topics relating to the long term care industry, to clients as well as to various industry organizations, including seminars sponsored by the Florida Health Care Association and the Tennessee Health Care Association. She and her staff are actively involved in all phases of health care cost reporting, reimbursement and consulting, as well as Certificate of Need applications and appeals, acquisitions analysis and other special projects
o Over nineteen years experience preparing and reviewing Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports for nursing facilities, rehabilitation agencies, CORFs, home health agencies and home offices.
o Design and preparation of various rate models under both Medicare and Medicaid to illustrate reimbursement concepts, calculate the financial benefits of alternative strategies, and prioritize objectives for the future.
o Extensive experience in analyzing and researching complex Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement issues to develop recommendations, defend against adjustments and obtain rate corrections.
o Preparation of health care training materials on a variety of subjects, and presentation of reimbursement seminars to staff accountants.
o Preparation of multi-year position papers and exhibits in connection with Medicare appeals to the Provider Reimbursement Review Board.
o Preparation and review of a variety of financial projections in connection with the Certificate of Need and licensure applications.
o Research, analysis and negotiation with state Medicaid programs to resolve audit adjustments and obtain prospective rate corrections.
o Review and analysis of Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports for many provider types, in order to identify opportunities for enhanced reimbursement.
o Member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
o Graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
o Manager of the Nashville office of Reingruber & Associates, Inc. with responsibility for all accounting, reimbursement and consulting services. The company's clients include skilled nursing facilities, hospices, home health agencies, continuing care retirement communities, and long term care suppliers.
o Intensive reimbursement experience in dealing with Medicare Intermediaries and Medicaid agencies in many states, in connection with audits, exit conferences, intermediary appeals, and other reimbursement related issues.

o Corporate compliance plan design and fieldwork, including resident trust fund examination and work governed under attorney-client privilege.
o Seminar design and presentation for both client training purposes and trade organization sessions.
o Responsible for the design and implementation of improved systems of billing, cost accounting and statistical recordkeeping and analytical procedures to achieve appropriate third-party reimbursement.

France M. Wedin is one of the managers of the St. Petersburg office of Reingruber & Company, P.A. She oversees and manages services provided to a variety of health care clients including skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospices, and home office operations. Her professional experience includes over fifteen years experience in health care accounting and consulting. This includes reimbursement experience in dealing with Medicare intermediaries and Florida Medicaid in connection with audits, exit conferences, intermediary appeals and other reimbursement related issues. Her responsibilities also include oversight and training of all staff accountants, preparation of weekly and semi-annual work schedules, and research of client-related reimbursement issues.
Prior to joining Reingruber & Company, P.A., Mrs. Wedin was Asst. Vice President of Finance for a long-term health care company, whose operations primarily included skilled nursing facilities, as well as assisted living and independent living beds. Mrs. Wedin began her accounting career as an auditor with Ernst & Young and advanced to a senior level position dealing with a variety of industries before leaving to pursue a career solely in the health care industry.

o Over twenty-seven years experience in all types of medical and insurance claims, including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, workers' compensation, auto liability and supplemental insurance.
o Established a variety of billing and collection systems, including manual and electronic billing processes, development of billing policies and procedures, staff training and quality improvement activities and monitoring status of reconsiderations and appeals.
